As of now, Tom tells me that there's some security restrictions that prevent us from uploading photos directly via this web/blog interface. I put the pictures up into my personal webspace on truman's server, although you can put them anywhere on the internet that you want...go to the ITS website if you've never uploaded to your webspace before. You can use the vpn and windows file sharing or I believe there is SFTP access to the webspaces.

Once you get the images up somewhere, (you should thumbnail them just to be nice to people) you can insert them into your post with a bit of html code:

<a href="http://link_to_your_main_image.jpg"><img src="http://link_to_your_thumbnailed_image.jpg"/></a>

This will produce a thumbnail image that is a link to your bigger image.

Hardy har har Isaac. Sure, that county may grow more potatoes that any SINGLE county in Idaho, but Idaho grows about 20,000 more potatoes (units of hundredweight-specific weight of potato farmers?) than Washington. That is why our license plates say Idaho-famous potatoes.

You won the battle, but Idaho wins the war.
Also, your REU seems absolutely perfect for you.

wow... nobody posts for a week and then we both post at the same time?!
Your project sounds really interesting! Is this what people mean when they say 'condensed matter physics'? I remember you being interested in that and I've never exactly known what it was. You seem to be touching on a physics/chem/engineering combo.
I like the "full of fail" line, I'll say it to german people from now on...

Since you would be expected to live with 6 people, more than our house, I'm going to ask a question that will only be helpful to me and a few other people.

Where does your room size fit into our house? Your room? Leah's?my closet?

Glad you're on this thing, about time you got some physics done.
