Women in Physics

Looking for the Women in Physics website? You can find it here!
Women in Physics (WiP) is a national organization with a chapter at Truman State University, which focuses on making a career in physics attainable for all students, regardless of gender or any other factors. Women in Physics preforms outreach at local schools in order to both help younger students come to appreciate physics and show them that they can pursue a career in physics.
Membership in Women in Physics is open to any student at Truman State University regardless of major or year. Any student with an interest in making physics more inclusive is encouraged to attend our meetings.
Women in Physics meets in MG 3000 at 6:00pm on the Thursdays that SPS does not meet. Women in Physics and SPS tend to collaborate on many events throughout the school year.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the WiP president, Lauren Semple or email tsuwomeninphysics@gmail.com
